(2) Vaginal examination using speculum for examination: the action should be gentle, as far as possible to avoid bleeding caused by friction. Normal vaginal wall mucosa is light pink color, there are folds, no ulcers, exercises, cysts, vaginal septum, double vagina and other congenital malformations. Normal vaginal secretions are egg white or white paste, no fishy smell, little amount, but increased in ovulation and pregnancy. If there are abnormalities, patients may experience local itching, burning sensation, etc. If there is abnormal leucorrhea, the secretions can be smeared at this time to find trichomonas, candida, gonococci and clue cells, etc., and bacterial culture is necessary. Leucorrhea is a mixture of vaginal mucosa exudate, cervical canal and endometrial gland secretions, and its formation is related to the effect of estrogen.
